Road Tripping to Serenbe

Lufkin - Memphis - Oxford - Birmingham - Serenbe
We started our spring break in Memphis. We saw the ducks march at the Peabody hotel and took a horse carriage to dinner. We had a great time getting caught up on our Elvis facts at Graceland. We even visited the home where he was born in Tupelo. We loved Oxford and got to visit with Ron's high school friend, Giles Perkins, while in Birmingham. He started Railroad Park in the center of Birmingham to help beautify downtown and bring new businesses there. It was cold, but we still took a quick tour of the botanical gardens in Birmingham (Alex in the tulips). I snagged a couple of Sycamore seed balls from Giles's yard so fingers crossed for future sycamore trees!
